Who We Are

The Ride for Joy Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that brings the joy – and many therapeutic benefits! – of horses to Treasure Valley children with special needs.

Ride for Joy is only possible with the help of the many generous donors who fund our operations, as the lesson fees cover only a very small fraction of our actual costs of providing services. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help us continue this wonderful service.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to bring the joy of horses to Treasure Valley children with special needs.

Our vision is to become the Treasure Valley's premier center of excellence for Equine Assisted Activities and to embrace and celebrate our students, families, staff, volunteers, donors and the community as our partners in achieving this vision.

Spring Lessons at Circle G River Ranch
We are excited to begin lessons this spring at the Circle G River Ranch in Emmett. This beautiful facility will provide us with more flexibility and space for an expanded curriculum that includes horsemanship activities for those students who are ready to learn more about grooming, tacking, etc. A big thank you to Circle G owner, Lettie Guinn, for graciously making this awesome facility available to Ride for Joy!
